An annual scholarship award given to the applicant under 25 years old who demonstrates not just a financial need but also a commit to their own ACRO paragliding progression in the US and commitment to the United States Paragliding community through active participation in the paragliding community as an instructor, tandem instructor, paragliding school employee/volunteer, observer, organizational committees / groups or other similar involvement.
The scholarship recipient will be awarded $10,000 in educational credits to Max Acro Paragliding for the furtherance of their paragliding knowledge, training and overall safety through SIV clinics as well as instructor and tandem instructor seminars/clinics.
Max Acro Paragliding believes in supporting the next generation of paragliding pilots and professionals, and have created this scholarship to support the young and upcoming guns in the industry. Our youngest pilot professionals and acrobatic training pilots often experienced financial restraints and the need to continually work to support their professional as well as acrobatic growth and competence. Therefore we now offers the next era of incredible pilots the opportunity to unburden themselves with the fees of the courses it takes to be the best and safest in our industry.
